Choosing the Right Podcast

Lesson Framework

1. Pre-listening (5 min) — Introduce topic, teach key vocabulary, set prediction questions
2. First listen (5-10 min) — Listen for gist: "What is the main topic?"
3. Second listen (5-10 min) — Listen for detail with specific questions
4. Post-listening (10 min) — Discussion, vocabulary work, reaction writing
