    How 1-Minute Prep Works

Edooqoo works as a student learning loop: first setup builds context, then Live Session answers, homework, teacher notes and flashcard progress can add context for the next lesson.

For the bounded workflow definition, read the canonical 1-Minute Prep page.

The 1-Minute Prep workflow has three connected parts

Setup builds the learner context, lesson activity adds evidence, and weekly prep uses that context before worksheet output.

    Phase 1: One-time student setup

    Build the learner context once

One-time setup is not the 1-minute claim. It creates the student context Edooqoo needs before recurring prep can become faster and more precise.

    Lesson-time signal capture

Capture useful signals during the lesson

During the lesson, Edooqoo can capture useful signals without a separate logging session.

Phase 2: Weekly 1-Minute Prep flow

    Run the recurring prep loop

Weekly prep is the recurring workflow Edooqoo is designed to make fast once student context and learning signals exist.

    Lesson-time signal capture

During the lesson, signals are captured without a separate logging session

When the teacher uses Edooqoo during a normal lesson, teaching actions can add evidence for the next prep cycle.

    Live Session answers

Students complete a shared worksheet while the teacher sees answers update in real time. Worksheet answers can store item evaluations, mastery-like scores, audio answers, active time, and AI-evaluation state where supported.

    Homework from the lesson

The teacher can turn selected lesson exercises or generated follow-up exercises into homework and send it to the student. Submitted homework stores answers, item evaluations, mastery, AI-assisted review for supported open answers, and a homework_submitted event.

    Teacher notes

The teacher can add skill observations, goals, personal context, and next-lesson ideas during the lesson. Notes are stored as student knowledge entries and can be AI-classified with tags, nano_skill metadata, and mastery when detected.

    Flashcards

The teacher can add vocabulary to flashcards and share sets with the student. Each word/card can act as a vocabulary nano-skill context item while student reviews update SM-2 retention progress, due dates, response time, quality rating, and mistake counts.

Flashcard study supplies word/card-level vocabulary retention context. Teacher review remains part of the loop.

    Phase 1: One-time student setup

    One-time student setup

This phase creates the learner record, baseline and goals. It is separate from the recurring 1-Minute Prep promise.

    1

    4

Review the profile and DSLM baseline

Review strengths, weak areas, learning path and nano-skill signals before deciding what to teach next.

    • Skill radar and mastery signals
    • Learning path context
    • Teacher review stays in control

    Phase 2: Weekly 1-Minute Prep

    Weekly 1-Minute Prep

This is the recurring prep loop: generate candidate next steps, use optional booking context, choose the focus, then create the worksheet output.

    5

    Generate Next Lesson Ideas

Use the student profile, goals, notes, roadmap context and recent signals to generate candidate next-lesson ideas before creating a worksheet.

    • Suggestion-first prep
    • Student-specific context

    • Audio and image-capable worksheets
    • Editable before teaching or assigning
    8

Teach, assign, and let signals update the next cycle

Use the worksheet in a live lesson, share it through a link, assign selected exercises as homework, and let activity signals inform the next prep cycle where applicable.

    • Interactive sharing
    • AI-assisted homework review
    • Learning events connected to student history

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is first setup the same as 1-Minute Prep?

No. First setup is separate. You create the account, add a student, add known context or send the Welcome Test, then build the signal base that moves recurring weekly prep toward 1 minute per student.

What emails will I receive after signing up?

Two emails. First, a confirmation email from Supabase (no-reply) with an activation link — click it to activate your account. After confirming, you'll receive a branded welcome email from hello@edooqoo.com with quick-start guidance and a link to your dashboard.

Do students need to create accounts?

No. Students access everything via links or the Student Hub portal using just their email. No account creation, no password, no app installation needed.

Can I skip the Welcome Test?

Yes. The Welcome Test is optional. You can start generating worksheets immediately by manually setting the student's CEFR level. The test is recommended for new students where you want a detailed skill assessment.

How many worksheets can I generate?

    Free plan: 2 worksheets. Side-Gig ($9/mo): 15 worksheets/month. Full-Time (from $19/mo): 30-90 worksheets/month. Each worksheet can contain up to 12 exercises.

Is there a limit on students?

No. You can add unlimited students on any plan, including the free plan. Student management is always free.
